Homemade Low-fat Strawberry Yoghurt

Ingredients
- Servings: 2
- 1 1/2 cups milk (i use low-fat)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (diabetics may use splenda as a substitute or other sugar substitutes)
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, washed and chopped
- 2 strawberries, slit lengthwise
Recipe
- 1 bring milk to a boil in a pot.
- 2 add sugar.
- 3 allow it to simmer till it reduces to half its quantity, i.e.
- 4 it should come down to 1 cup.
- 5 while this is being done, chop strawberries.
- 6 process strawberries in a blender until they are pureed.
- 7 remove the sweetened milk into a medium sized mixing bowl.
- 8 add strawberry puree.
- 9 mix well.
- 10 transfer this strawberry yogurt to serving dishes.
- 11 cover and refrigerate.
- 12 serve chilled with a slit strawberry sitting on the rim of the serving bowl.
