Lowfat Molasses Oat Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (1/2 ounce) packet dry yeast
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 tablespoons heart healthy canola oil
- 1/2 cup oat bran
- 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl combine flour and yeast and set aside.
- 2 in a saucepan combine milk, molasses, cooking oil and salt.
- 3 heat until just warm.
- 4 add milk mixture to flour mixture.
- 5 beat with an electric mixer on low speed.
- 6 using a wooden spoon, stir in oat bran then stir in as much wheat flour as you can.
- 7 turn down out and knead in remaining wheat flour.
- 8 should make a stiff dough.
- 9 put into a bowl and cover with a towel. in a warm place let it rise about1 hour.
- 10 punch dough down.
- 11 turn into lightly floured surface.
- 12 divide in half and let rest 10 minutes.
- 13 spray a large baking sheet with lowfat cooking spray.
- 14 divide each half of dough into six pieces.
- 15 shape each piece into a ball and place on cooking sheet 2 inches apart.
- 16 cover and let rise 45 more minutes.
- 17 bake at 375 for ten-12 minutes.
