Naan (diabetic)

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • nonstick cooking spray

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients to form a dough.
  • 2 let the dough rise until it doubles, about 1 hour.
  • 3 punch the dough down and divide it into 10 parts.
  • 4 roll each part into a thin circle.
  • 5 brush one side with water.
  • 6 preheat the oven to 400°f spray a griddle with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 7 put the circles on the hot griddle, watered side up.
  • 8 cook until half done or lightly browned, about 3 minutes.
  • 9 transfer to a nonstick cookie sheet.
  • 10 bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
