Quick Sauteed Spinach

Total Time: 9 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb fresh spinach, pre-washed
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat the olive oil in a deep pan or large pot.
  • 2 once heated, add the minced garlic and stir. do not let the garlic burn!
  • 3 add the spinach and toss to coat the spinach. cover and adjust to very low heat.
  • 4 let the spinach steam, untouched for 5 minutes. remove lid and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 stir and serve. (if the spinach is not cooked to your liking, continue to steam with lid on for another 2 minutes).
