Microwave Dutch Apple Oatmeal

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
  • 1 apple, chopped with peel
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 place oatmeal, water, spices, apples and raisins in a large microwave container and microwave on high for 5-6 minutes or until oatmeal is thick.
  • 2 allow to stand for a few minutes and serve with skim milk.
