Garlic-rosemary Mushrooms

Ingredients

- 1 ounce bacon, chopped (about 11/2 slices)
- 1 1/2 lbs mixed mushrooms, such as cremini, button, shiitake (stemmed)
- 2 medium garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 cup dry wine
Recipe
- 1 cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until just beginning to brown, about 4 minutes.
- 2 add mushrooms, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until almost dry, 8 to 10 minutes.
- 3 pour in wine and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
