Green Jasmine And Rose Tea, Iced

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 5 cups water, filtered
  • 4 green jasmine tea bags
  • 2 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks (use 1 if you like a light touch of cinnamon)
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • sugar (or honey or splenda) (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat pure filtered water (for clear tea) with the tea bags and cinnamon just to boiling.
  • 2 put a lid on the pan and remove from the heat and allow to steep for 20 minutes.
  • 3 discard the tea bags.
  • 4 you may leave the cinnamon in the tea if you like, it will add more flavor if it remains in the tea.
  • 5 add the rose water and stir.
  • 6 cool to room temp or chill.
  • 7 sweeten to your taste.
  • 8 serve over ice (you can certainly drink it hot if you wish).
