Healthy Apple Muffins

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apples, diced
  • 1/2 cup splenda sugar substitute
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 toss apple with splenda set aside.
  • 2 whisk egg, applesauce, & vanilla.
  • 3 add the remaining ingredients. mix well.
  • 4 add apple mixture. mix well.
  • 5 pour into 12 greased muffin tins.
  • 6 batke at 325 for 25-30 minutes.
