Hommos Bi Thine

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 300 g chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons tahini (sesame oil)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 soak the chickpeas for about 24hours in about 1.5liters water.
  • 2 rinse the chickpeas and cook them in boiled water with the baking soda. this will take about one hour and a half.
  • 3 rinse the cooked chickpeas.
  • 4 mix the garlic with the chickpeas in a blender. you must obtain a pretty thick paste.
  • 5 add the sesame oil and then the sesame oile.
  • 6 when served, add a little olive oil on top.
