How-do-i-love-thee Vegan Cheese

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb firm tofu, crumbled
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 3 tablespoons tamari
  • 3 -4 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 -2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 simply combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  • 2 this works well if halved, but it'll also keep for at least 4-5 days refrigerated.
