Middle Eastern Style Fried Chicken

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 whole roasting chickens, cut up (or whatever pieces of chicken desired)
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • flour
  • vegetable oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 place chicken in a large pot and cover with water.
  • 2 add onion, garlic, coriander, tumeric, salt and pepper and stir.
  • 3 allow to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
