Nuoc Cham (vietnamese Spicy Fish Sauce)

Ingredients

  • 2 red chili peppers, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 3 teaspoons sugar or 1 1/2 packages artificial sweetener
  • 1/2 cup fish sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, to taste
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 mash peppers, garlic and sugar into a paste, using mortar and pestle.
  • 2 add the fish sauce, lime juice and water.
  • 3 blend well.
  • 4 seal and refrigerate.
