Healthy Apple Pie Oatmeal

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 large apple, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup low-fat milk
  • sugar substitute, to taste
  • 1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • sugar substitute, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 fill a large bowl with oats and chopped apple.
  • 2 cover with water and stir.
  • 3 place in microwave and cook for 3 minutes.
  • 4 add cinnamon, milk and sugar substitute
  • 5 return to microwave for another 1-2 minutes.
  • 6 in a separate bowl, mix yogurt, vanilla and sugar substitute
  • 7 remove oatmeal from microwave and top with yogurt.
