Picadillo " Estilo Cubano"

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 -3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry wine
  • 1/2 cup pimento stuffed olive, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • salt & pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet brown the meat, onions and garlic.
  • 2 pour out whatever fat you may render.
  • 3 turn heat down to low; add tomato sauce and wine.
  • 4 while it simmers, chop up the pimento stuffed olives and add to meat mixture.
  • 5 add raisins & adjust the seasonings.
  • 6 serve on a bed of rice.
