Perfect Pilaf Rice

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups basmati rice ()
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 wash rice well, put water on to boil with salt.
  • 2 preheat oven to 350f and grease a 10*13 pan.
  • 3 add rice and all other ingredients to boiling water.
  • 4 boil for 10 minutes, take off pan and rinse well under running water.
  • 5 spread rice in roasting pan and place in oven.
  • 6 bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • 7 serve or add any other ingredients.
