Easy Chalupe

Total Time: 5 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb roast
  • 1 lb dry pinto beans
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 3 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 slow cook lamb roast, pinto beans, chili powder, cilantro, oregano, garlic, salt, cumin and water for five to six hours; add more water if needed.
  • 2 shred lamb and return to pot.
  • 3 serve over tortillas if desired.
