Ingredients
- 2 (12 lb) bags chestnuts
- 1/2 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 spread chestnuts as evenly as you can in a frying pan (or if you wish a cauldron with 1/2 cup of water).
- 2 put the butter into the pan (or cauldron) and roast the chestnuts as evenly as you can. this takes about 12-18 minutes, depending on the size of the chestnuts.
- 3 after roasting cool to room temperature and eat/serve.
