Pseudo Sourdough For The Bread Machine

Total Time: 3 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 cup barley flour
  • 2 tablespoons dry potato flakes
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or splenda)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Recipe

  • 1 place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
  • 2 select bread setting, and start.
  • 3 makes a 1 1/2 lb loaf.
