Five Spice Lamb (for Sandwiches)

Ingredients

- 2 1/2-3 lbs lamb shoulder
- 1 cup apple juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons five-spice powder
Recipe
- 1 trim fat from meat and place in 4 quart slow cooker.
- 2 combine apple juice, soy sauce, hoisin sauce and five-spice powder in small bowl and pour over meat.
- 3 cover and cook on low 10-12 hours or on high 5 1/2 - 6 hours.
- 4 remove meat from cooker, reserving juices.
- 5 remove meat from bone and discard bone.
- 6 using 2 forks, shred meat.
- 7 serve on bun/rolls of choice. use juices for dipping (french dip style) if desired.
