Gothampu Ada (special Wheat Pancake)

Ingredients
- 4 cups wheat flour or 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 shallots (tender onions)
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 3 curry leaves
- 4 green chilies
- salt, to taste
- 4 tablespoons coconut flakes (optional)
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil or 3 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 crush baby onions, cumin seed, curry leaves,green chillies and coconut flakes together.
- 2 mix the above with the flour and add salt to taste.
- 3 add enough water and make dough of consistency that of cake batter.
- 4 grease the heated pan with a little oil/butter.
- 5 make pancake out of a laddleful of batter.
- 6 after sometime, spread a little oil/butter on the top.
- 7 make upside down.
- 8 wait till done.
- 9 now, repeat the steps 5 through 9 till the batter is over.
