Baked Cajun Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2-2 lbs chicken, meaty (breasts, thighs, drumstick)
  • nonstick spray coating
  • 2 tablespoons nonfat milk
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder (i prefer real onion)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 remove skin from chicken.
  • 2 rinse chicken, pat dry.
  • 3 spray a 13 by 9 by 2 inch baking dish with nonstick coating.
  • 4 arrange the chicken, meaty sides up, in dish.
  • 5 brush with milk.
  • 6 in small bowl mix onion powder, thyme, garlic salt, pepper, red pepper, and black pepper.
  • 7 sprinkle over chicken.
  • 8 bake in a 375 degree oven for 45 to 55 minutes or till the chicken is tender and no longer pink.
