Jasmine Ginger Sparkler

Ingredients

- 1 1/3 cups tea, concentrate* (made from good quaility jasmine tea)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
- 2 2/3 cups chilled ginger ale (diet is fine)
- ice cube
- honey, sugar (optional) or splenda sugar substitute (optional)
Recipe
- 1 combine ginger and tea concentrate while still hot and refrigerate for at least three hours.
- 2 strain and discard ginger.
- 3 pour concentrate and ginger ale into ice filled glasses.
- 4 makes 4 servings.
- 5 * for recipes that call for tea concentrates: steep 12 tea bags in 4 cups of boiling water. before removing, squeeze the tea bags to get all of the liquid. cool the concentrate in the refrigerator at least 3 hours and keep up to 2 weeks.
