Jasmine Ginger Sparkler

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/3 cups tea, concentrate* (made from good quaility jasmine tea)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
  • 2 2/3 cups chilled ginger ale (diet is fine)
  • ice cube
  • honey, sugar (optional) or splenda sugar substitute (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 combine ginger and tea concentrate while still hot and refrigerate for at least three hours.
  • 2 strain and discard ginger.
  • 3 pour concentrate and ginger ale into ice filled glasses.
  • 4 makes 4 servings.
  • 5 * for recipes that call for tea concentrates: steep 12 tea bags in 4 cups of boiling water. before removing, squeeze the tea bags to get all of the liquid. cool the concentrate in the refrigerator at least 3 hours and keep up to 2 weeks.
