Honey Oatmeal

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/3 cups oats (large flake)
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 3 tablespoons sugar substitute (splenda)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large pot, bring milk, water, cinnamon and salt to boil.
  • 2 stir in oats and wheat germ and return to boil.
  • 3 reduce heat to low and cook, stirring, for about 8 minutes or until thickened.
  • 4 stir in almonds and splenda.
