Orange Biscuits

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon orange peel, grated
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup fresh orange juice
Recipe
- 1 combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
- 2 using a pastry blender, cut orange peel and butter into dry ingredients until crumbs form.
- 3 stir in orange juice and rind, mixing gently to form ball of dough.
- 4 knead on lightly floured board 10 times.
- 5 pat or roll to 1/2 inch thickness, then cut with floured, round 2-1/2 inch biscuit cutter.
- 6 place on greased baking sheet and bake at 425 for 12 to 14 minutes, until lightly browned.
- 7 serve warm.
