Diabetic Apple Cobbler

Ingredients
- 6 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup xylitol sweetener
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup flax seed meal
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 the filling:.
- 3 in a large bowl combine apples, 1/2 cup xylitol, 1 tbs honey, flaxseed meal, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract.
- 4 stir gently with a toss like motion to mix up all ingredients and coat all the apple pieces.
