Diabetic Bar-b-q Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (i use brown sugar substitute.)
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
- 2 bring to a boil.
- 3 cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes on low heat.
- 4 best if allowed to sit in the refrigerator overnight.
- 5 can be used immediately after preparing.
