Ginger-sesame Asparagus Saute

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 -2 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut on the diagonal into 2-in pieces
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • sea salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in nonstick skilled. add garlic and ginger. stirfry for 15 seconds.
  • 2 add asparagus and stir-fry until crisp tender, about 4 minutes add hoisin and toss until coated, about 1 minute.
  • 3 season with salt and pepper. toss with sesame seeds. serve.
