Diabetic Orange Nut Cake

Ingredients

- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup splenda brown sugar blend
- 1/3 cup splenda granular
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2/3 cup orange juice
- 2 teaspoons orange extract
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts
Recipe
- 1 pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 grease 8-inch square baking pan.
- 3 in large mixing bowl, combine margarine, splenda's and egg. beat 2 minutes at high speed, sraping the bowl occasionally. blend in flour and mix well.
- 4 blend in remaining ingredients, except nuts. beat 1 minute on slow speed.
- 5 pour mix into prepared pan. sprinkle with nuts. bake at 350 degrees 25 to 30 minutes.
